Law firms face significant challenges taking in new business due to administrative hurdles in determining conflicts of interest with current clients. Clarity developed a proprietary solution, ClarityIntake, that automates all aspects the new business intake process for law firms: it collects client, matter, and lateral transfer information to ensure conflicts, research, and approvals are completed.
ClarityIntake extends the functionality of K2, an industry-standard software platform, and give firms best-in-class tools to manage, monitor, and change the process over time.
Clarity was tasked with creating due-diligence and order-processing systems for a leader in regulatory compliance solutions. The due-diligence system accepted orders on capital transactions such as M&A or IPOs, and then performed automated background checks on individuals or organizations via links to third-party systems. The system then prefills certain elements of the final deliverable report, and facilitates workflows within the clients organization, including case management and collaboration.
The second system will process orders for an anti-bribery and corruption product that performs background checks on vendors. The system will integrate with outside services that provide data on potential vendors, and algorithmically score and provide a risk assessment. Companies would use this risk assessment to flag specific vendors, in order to assess their compliance “health” for their vendor network, and to demonstrate to regulators that they are actively trying to maintain compliance.
A leading company that helps injured workers return to their jobs had grown to the point that their proprietary system could no longer take the burden. Clarity built a completely new, modern web application built on the Azure platform that powers both the client’s referral engine and case-management system.
The referral engine algorithmically assigns cases to a case manager, based on the case worker’s skills, certifications and location. The case-management system tracks the status of tasks and billing for all activities that help get employees quickly and and safely back to work, improving the quality and efficiency of our clients’ core operations.
Insurance brokers are at the mercy of two major agency management systems: Applied Epic and Vertafore AMS360. These systems are great for capturing, storing and tracking data, but terrible for workflow and usability. That often causes a snowball of dysfunction: hours wasted for each employee, problems with quality assurance, difficulty completing routine procedures and more.
Clarity has updated these systems for some of the largest agencies in the industry, helping them with:
- Remarketing – more effectively keeping track and taking action on expiring policies
- Billing – creating invoices more accurately and enabling online payments
- Data management – accurately combining data from legacy organizations
- Employee efficiency – accelerating business workflows and reducing FTE costs
NowPow is a Chicago-based technology company that connects people to high-quality community healthcare resources. They needed a proof of concept (POC) for their new web platform and partnered with Clarity’s sister company Truth Labs, a digital design agency. Following the success of the POC, Clarity built NowPow’s go-to-market software.
Today, NowPow helps care professionals to create localized, customized self-care plans for their patients. They can also achieve deeper engagement with embedded text and email tools that nudge the patient into action. NowPow’s technology includes seamless EHR integration, so providers can automatically generate and deliver customized e-prescriptions of community resources at the point of care. Their service HealtheRx’s are algorithmically based on the patient’s diagnosis, address, age, gender, and language spoken. Powerful data analytics continuously inform NowPow’s technology to provide personalized referrals.
